Just because Jesus didn't deal with a matter while He was here on earth doesn't mean it isn't important. One of the more dangerous false teachings today is one that suggests if Jesus didn't deal with a matter while He was on earth, it isn't that important. MANY false teachers use Jesus' silence on important issues as evidence that Jesus didn't consider them to be sins, or didn't consider them to be "bad" sins. God doesn't rank sin, and Jesus was on earth to accomplish our salvation.
