Desired Haven Ministries serves audiences, literally, around the world through its sister ministry, Madetomatter.org . In 2007, more than 120,000 readers visited our devotional, from over 100 countries on six continents. While those numbers are exciting, our goal isn't just to expand our audience: We want to move our readers from a connection with our devotional to a connection to Scripture.  We do this by writing Bible studies that deal with everyday life, teaching Christians how to use Scripture to live their faith at work and home.

Along the way, we also work to help Christians move from consumers (What can God do for me?) to servants (What can I do for God?). With Madetomatter.org, we seek to foster increased dialogue between the local church and the workplace.

But that's just the start. We offer dozens of Bible studies on issues as diverse as finding balance, dealing with difficult people, resolving conflict, or answering life's hard questions. We respond to hundreds of your emails each month, teach Bible studies, as well as leading workshops and seminars.

In 2008, our Senior Writer, Randy Kilgore, joined Joni Eareckson Tada, Joseph Stowell, Oswald Chambers and others as one of the authors published by Discovery House Publishers, with Made to Matter: Devotions for Working Christians.  and in 2009 was invited to devotional writing team at Our Daily Bread. We're also always looking for ways to link Christians to best practices in their faith, in their family lives and in their work lives. We'll point you to websites, books, movies, Bible studies and more, encouraging you to find the tools that equip you to make your life matter in the Kingdom of God while it makes a difference in the kingdom of humanity.

We're also excited to be part of an exciting international team building a theology of work, the Theology of Work Project, Inc., a body of work completely in the public domain, with the goal of discovering, recording and building unity around the timeless truths Scripture offers about work. It's one of those rare first-time-in-the-history-of-the-church events where you, too, can play a major role.

It's no surprise that all of this takes money. Will you join us in our effort to reach people with the good news of the great love of God?  Will you help us "Wycliffe the workplace", taking the language of faith and expressing it in the language of life and work?
