Here you'll find resources for pastors, which is our "shorthand" term for all members of the clergy, as well as chaplains and others who serve full-time inside churches and ministries. We plan to feature four categories of information, though we'll often add miscellaneous articles that don't necessarily fit into those categories.
HOT BUTTONS: Issues that are dominating the minds and hearts of workplace Christians right now. They may be as timeless as unemployment or as timely as the subprime lending crisis.
WHAT WORKERS NEED: With nearly thirty years of combined experience in human resource management and workplace chaplaincy, we're had the opportunity to observe the difference between what workers want from their pastors and churches in their spiritual journey and what they need. We try to give voice to both their wants and needs, and to offer perspective on how pastors and churches might resonate with workers in ways that trigger cooperation between the church and the workplace.
RESOURCES: Here we offer tools, ideas, links and even nurturing for pastors wanting to equip their congregations to serve something bigger than themselves. As with the rest of our ministry efforts, we remain committed to moving individual believers along in their spiritual journeys past the early days of consumer faith (What is God doing for me?) to service faith (What can I do alongside of God?).
PASTORS' LINKS: When we find other websites helpful to pastors, we'll pass them along here. Competition is terrific in the marketplace, but when it comes to serving the shepherds, it's time to be unselfish. When somebody does something better than we do, or does something we don't, count on us to connect you to them!
We invite you to explore the continually changing menu of services we provide, and happily receive your feedback on ways to better serve you. For those of you who aren't pastors (and who peeked into this corner of the website out of curiosity), we want you to join us here, too. Understanding the work of the clergy will only make you appreciate them more; and it will enable you to better fulfil your Biblical obligations to care for, pray for, and physically support your shepherds.
